Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. A talent agent recognized her talents and convinced her to go on a path as a model or actor. After much deliberation her decision was to drop out of the college to pursue a career as an entertainer. The actress was unhappy with her performance in the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To show her worth her worth, she had to work hard in hone her skills as an actor and was featured in a variety of films with low budgets. She had a challenging road, but received a reward for her perseverance and sheer willpower. In the film Training Day she gained fame and was praised by critics. This was when her acting career began to take off. Her most well-known work is in the films 2 Fast 2 Fast and Furious Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans Holy Motors and 2 Fast 2 Furious.
