Jillian Noel Shennessy, born 25th November, 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician that was acknowledged for her contribution to American television. The most famous of her works are her stunning performance in the American television shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy has also displayed her talent as an actor through films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. The acting career of Hennessy began in 1988, when she and her sister acted as twin Callgirls on Dead Ringers. She starred in Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990, and then entered the realm of sci-fi in 1993 as the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. The following year she made her most famous break when she joined NBC's hit drama Law & Order to play District Attorney Assistant Claire Kincaid. Parker received the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress for the Broadway Show Proof.
