Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to take part in her first Vogue photo shoot alongside Richard Avedon within one week. Ann was soon one of the most sought-after models ever, with her covers appearing in top fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann began her modeling career for Max Factor Revlon in Europe and Japan in the fashion houses of Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel following two years of success.
